Used in the discharge of product in tank cars, Salco Products’ innovative bottom outlet caps are ergonomically designed for efficiency, ease of maintenance and safety. They feature a robust cap and hex area, which allows for more wrench grip and less slipping. Its cable assembly is constructed of steel and is zinc plated for smooth rotation.
An optional stainless or carbon steel chain link assembly is also available. In addition, a stainless steel locking ring for securement is included. Salco’s bottom outlet caps meet the Association of American Railroads (AAR) requirements for use in hazardous and non-hazardous products, including flammables, and are available in aluminum, plastic, stainless steel and carbon steel.
